This week marks the end of our book study. All posts, including five published this week, can be found and read here.
An interesting idea to start addressing structural racism —> Close the wealth gap with baby bonds (The Atlantic)
Just finished The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin. As I shared on Goodreads, I was expecting more sci-fi/fantasy and less family drama, yet a good story all the same. Next up: Either In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O’Brien or A Place of My Own: The Education of an Amateur Builder by Michael Pollan.
I added this quote to my journal: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” – Anonymous (h/t Mindfulness Training)
Op-ed from The Washington Post: “We missed one chance to open schools safely. Here’s the new, more expensive, option.” (Be sure to check out the link to “Schools for Health” embedded in the article for a visual checklist for re-entry.)
