The picture here depicts a simple notebook project for my faculty. I cut and pasted Mary Oliver's "Wild Geese" in the front inside cover. They were encouraged to use the notebook however they wanted: grocery lists, gardening to-dos, or reread Oliver's poem and remind themselves that they are just fine as they are, that they "do not have to be good".
What a lovely idea. The poem is inviting and inspirational; the notebook is a kind gift; the choice of what to write is wide open. And, ah, the dark chocolate. That closes the deal. Well done my friend.
