How to Create a Screencast with your iPad Pro
In developing content an eBook on instructional walks, one part of the curriculum will (hopefully) include screen recordings of me writing out my observations.
I have an iPad and a stylus - all I need. No special app required. Screen recording is a function of the iPad Pro. It is easy to set up and use. Here are the two steps.
Go to your settings, select "Control Center", then "Customize Controls", and drag the "Screen Recording" option to the "Include" menu.

Drag down the icon menu from the top right of the screen and select the target button that now appears there.

In three seconds, your screen recording begins. When you are finished, stopping it will save your screencast video to your Photos.
I am using this function for recording my instructional walks. There are many other possibilities here. For example, a teacher could create tutorials for using other features on the iPad for their students. Or, the students could create tutorials for their peers. What possibilities do you see with this feature? Please share your ideas in the comments.
