Thank you for sharing that great video of Carl Anderson 😊. I really enjoyed it. I agree that writing and reading curriculums need to be separate. The focus right now is on reading comprehension and decoding, with writing taking a backseat. Yet, writing is our way of expressing our ideas and working them out. Writing helps improve reading comprehension and vice versa. I will be buying Carl and Matt’s new book. I really respect both men and am looking forward to their great insights on becoming a better teacher of writing.
